Community uniform rail manager

Our community rails are located across the city. Families can help themselves to school uniform that is on them and can donate uniform to them too. Some of the rails are in public locations it is important that they look smart . The rails rely on donations to keep them full.

You 

• will check the rails each week to ensure they are tidy and hang up any donations that have been left by the rail.
• will share our promotional materials about the rails with local community groups and families.
• may occasionally organise donation drives to get new items for the rails.

Social media content creator

We want to continue to raise awareness about how we can help families spend less and reduce waste.

You will

• create and schedule posts for our Facebook and Instagram accounts using our brand guidelines and digital assets 
• contribute content ideas, taking into account calendar events, key points in the school year and other activities taking place across the city

Practical Considerations

• You will be given reasonable expenses for travelling to any meetings
• The Community rails that need to be looked after are in Moulsecoomb and Woodingdean. Ideally you would be local to Moulsecoomb or Woodingdean for these positions.
• We don’t have an office - but occasional meet ups in cafes can be arranged☺️! And we can always meet online.

Support DisabledThe social media content creator role can be carried out at home and at times that suit the volunteer. For both roles the Service Manager will provide management support. Any additional support needs will be discussed during the induction.

Skills

Community uniform rail manager

You must

• have an eye for presentation and care about tidyness
• care about helping families to access second-hand school uniform
• be someone who has ideas about who to tell about the rails and be prepared to do this
• be enthusiastic and able to work independently
• be an excellent communicator

Social media content creator

You

• must have experience of using social media and using Canva
• must be able to create engaging content 
• be someone who is enthusiastic and able to work independently
• must be an excellent communicator

When do I need to be available?

Details	It is only posisble to manage the community rails during office hours during the week Social media content can be creaeted at times that suit the volunteer
