WE ARE LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO JOIN OUR COMMITTEE TEAM

ABOUT US
The Hangleton and Knoll 5O+ Steering Group is a resident led group of volunteers supported by the Hangleton and Knoll Project. The Group works to improve the health and wellbeing of residents aged 50 and over by tackling social isolation, developing and supporting new interests, groups and activities, and giving older people a voice in the community.

Skills

FLEXIBLE ROLES AVAILABLE DEPENDING ON INTERESTS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Supporting the team with delivering a range of activities, projects and events
•    Outreach to groups and wider community
•    Attending in person monthly Committee meetings (sometimes online via Zoom}
•    Responding to Committee emails to feed in ideas and be part of decision-making
•    Assisting with community funding applications and group finances
•    Assisting with organising trips and events.

Practical Considerations

Need to be able to get to Hangleton and Knoll area of the city.
