We are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to support the administrative systems of the Carers Centre and review/update our factsheets which contain signposts to services relevant to unpaid carers in Brighton & Hove. We are looking for a commitment of between 4-6 hours per week.
1. To meet and greet service users, members of the public and visitors to the Centre in a friendly and courteous manner
2. To take incoming telephone calls, dealing with such calls promptly in a professional manner, and re-directing appropriate calls to other individuals within the Centre and outside the organisation
3. To undertake general administrative duties including data entry and helping to develop leaflets and other communications
4. To review and update our suite of 11 factsheets for carers
5. To work in accordance with the values, policies and procedures
6. To carry out other duties appropriate to the role and responsibilities as may be delegated by the CEO.
Skills
We would welcome applicants with previous experience of office work / administration tasks but this is not necessarily a requirement.

Practical Considerations
Our offices are located between Brighton Station and London Road, with excellent bus links and paid parking in the area. The offices are situated on the ground floor so are easy to access.
When do I need to be available?
