We are looking for a motivated and organised volunteer to support the planning and delivery of the Ageing Well Festival. This is a great opportunity to be part of a community-focused project that celebrates positive ageing and promotes wellbeing.
The volunteer will play a key role behind the scenes, helping ensure that event information is accurate, up to date and clearly communicated to the public.
You will be supporting the team by:
- Contacting event providers to confirm event details (dates, times, venues, accessibility information, and any updates)
- Keeping clear and accurate records of event information
- Supporting the development of the Ageing Well Festival brochure, including proofreading and checking content for accuracy and consistency
- Inputting and updating event information on the festival website
- Flagging any discrepancies or missing information to the project team
- Providing general administrative support related to the festival, as needed
You will receive an induction and ongoing support from the Ageing Well Festival team, with regular check-ins.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a strong eye for detail and enjoys working accurately
- Is organised and able to manage information across different platforms
- Communicates clearly and confidently by email and phone
- Is comfortable using basic digital tools (e.g. email, Word/Google Docs, websites or content management systems — training can be provided)
- Is reliable and able to work independently, with support from the team
Previous experience in events, admin, communications or digital content is helpful but not essential.
