Dad La Soul

Register your Interest

Dad La Soul is an award-winning social enterprise and community that brings dads and male carers together through creative events, playdates and peer support to tackle isolation and improve men's mental health.

This role is about making the room work.

It is noticing who looks comfortable, who looks awkward, and who might need a friendly word before they drift back out the door. It is helping shape the atmosphere so people can relax into it.

Think of it like this. If this were Glastonbury, you would be the one making sure the sound system was sorted, the vibe was right, and the room was ready to hit properly the second people walked in. Not flashy. Just essential. The stuff people might not always see, but always matters.

You will:

  • Set up activities and help pack down afterwards
  • Welcome dads, male carers and children
  • Manage registration and ticket check-in using our simple app and check-in sheet
  • Be a warm, calm and reliable presence
  • Help conversations start naturally and support connection between families
  • Encourage inclusive participation so nobody feels left out or out of place
  • Keep an eye on how the session is going and flag any concerns
  • Share highlights, feedback and ideas
