Grassroots Suicide Prevention
Grassroots Suicide Prevention is a Brighton based charity working to save lives through education, connection, and campaigning.We are thrilled to be Pier Partners with the Brighton Half Marathon 2026. We are looking to recruit between 250 - 400 runners.
We invite passionate, friendly volunteers to help us bring the energy, support, and inspiration on race day! We require:
Marquee Volunteers:
- Set up and pack down equipment
- Welcome runners and create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere
- Offer refreshments, answer questions and support our team
- Snap some pre and post race photos of our runners
Photography Volunteers:
- Capture the energy of our runners at the start, finish and along the course
- Feature your work across our social media and future campaigns
- Opportunity to grow your portfolio and gain live event experience
Cheer Volunteers:
- Bring the noise and positivity to our cheer points along the course
- Motivate and uplift runners with signs, claps and energy.
Skills
These roles would suit highly enthusiastic, passionate, reliable and helpful individuals who would like to get involved with a fast-growing charity that helps to save lives from suicide.
