Clinic Assistants

Pathways to Health currently runs three 'open access' ear acupuncture clinics based in community venues in Brighton and Hove - including CRI Drug and Alcohol service, Mind and at Cornerstone Community Centre. Treatments are received with individuals seated in a group environment.

Volunteers assist acupuncture practitioners with setting up and closing the clinic, record keeping, and tea making duties.

Practical Considerations

• Clinics are based in central Brighton and Hove locations near bus routes. Travel expenses reimbursed.
• We try to make all clinics accessible for both service users, staff, and volunteers.
• Volunteering for clinics requires a commitment to cover the set times of the clinic for the whole duration, or as agreed in advance.

Support DisabledClinics are in accessible locations that are either on the ground floor or have lifts. We try our hardest to accommodate all access arrangements.

No formal qualifications needed. An openness and interest in people is essential - then all welcome!
