Driver Volunteers

Would you like to be part of a small supportive grassroots group who together want to make a tangible difference to the local community and environment within Coldean. 

Join the Coldean Community Organisation where we offer a safe space for all, with surplus food, community pantry and community cafe. As a driver you will using your own vehicle to:

• Safely collect donated food and supplies from local sources (e.g., supermarkets, charities).
• Coordinate collection times with the team - ensuring prompt, safe delivery back to the Coldean Community Corner.
• Assisting with light lifting, moving and loading of food crates/boxes.

Induction and training will be provided.

Practical Considerations

• You will be using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed at 45p/mile).
• You must hold a valid driving licence.
• The hours you offer can fit around your other commitments and what best suits you.

Skills

• You must hold a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a safe vehicle.
