We are currently looking for more volunteers to join our team of language teachers who teach ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) at beginners and intermediate level.
Skills
As a volunteer you will need:
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to one session per week.
- Skills and experience in teaching.
- Able to organise and plan a class or course in your area of expertise.
- To be patient with people.
Benefits
Volunteers get their travel expenses reimbursed (up to £5).
Volunteers are also entitled to have a free meal when kitchen is open and a reference after 3 months of volunteering with BUCFP.
Practical Considerations
Limited parking around the centre and unfortunately no access for wheel chair users (centre accessible only through 2 flights of stairs).
