You will be responsible for coordinating our events, currently a monthly coffee morning for single parents in Brighton & Hove. This will include promoting the events via our online distribution list and posters/flyers, managing the Facebook event listings, coordinating venue bookings and overseeing the smooth running of the events on the day. You will be working with other volunteers, delegating tasks on occasion, and will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed, leading to a successful calendar of events.
You could be involved in all or some of the following depending on your interests and availability:
- Promoting our calendar of events using our distribution list.
- Coordinating the smooth running of events.
- Conducting a risk assessment for each event.
- Identifying possible venues and managing venue bookings.
- Supporting at events including setting, clearing up, refreshments.
- Meeting and greeting others at events, ensuring registration processes are followed.

- You will have an induction into the charity and be supported by the Director and/or the Volunteer Coordinator in your role.
