Front Office/Reception Volunteer
Brighton Unemployed Centre (Families Project)
The Office Project Volunteers run the busy reception at the Centre which is often the first point of contact for anyone coming into the Centre.
Skills
As a volunteer you will need:
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Good numeracy and literacy.
- To be able to work under stress in a small busy office environment.
Benefits
Volunteers get their travel expenses reimbursed (up to £5), are provided with training while performing the role and additional training opportunities as they progress if needed and available. It's a great opportunity to socialise, meet our centre users and meet other volunteers.
Volunteers are also entitled to have a free meal and a reference after 3 months of volunteering with BUCFP.
Practical Considerations
Limited parking around the centre and unfortunately no access for wheel chair users (centre accessible only through 2 flights of stairs)
When do I need to be available?
