Diversity Resource International (DRI) is a Sussex-based non-profit community development organisation dedicated to empowering ethnic minorities and migrant communities. We deliver community development programmes, community-led research, leadership and enterprise support, and training for equity and inclusion.
This is a hybrid role for a Fundraising Volunteer. The Fundraising Volunteer role is an opportunity to develop skills in planning and researching fundraising opportunities and maintaining supporter relationships. Due to new organisational development at DRI, the volunteer will get the opportunity to work on income generation and diversification. You will be involved in supporting grant applications, swot analysis of relevant DRI grants, background research to identify the priorities of funders, programme design, and identifying a SMART plan of action.
Benefits
As part of the DRI volunteer team, you will get:
1. Access to trainings that DRI will facilitate and is invited to. e.g. : Cultural Competency training, Adult Safeguarding Training.
2. Experience in the day to day workings of a non-profit community interest company led by ethnically minoritised leaders.
3. DRI requires all volunteers to have a basic DBS and if you need a new one, DRI will pay the expense of the DBS check.
