To help the Gardener with the upkeep and presentation of the grounds and external areas of Guild Care’s Care Homes and Head Office.

What will I be doing?

  • General gardening duties
  • Watering
  • Tidying up
  • Weeding
  • Maintaining shrubs, trees, and flower beds
  • Trimming and pruning
  • No use of power tools is required.

Skills

Times and commitment:

Any amount of time that you can dedicate to this role would make a huge difference to a resident’s and service users lives – even if it is 1 hour per week!

Support Offered:

You will be supported by the volunteering team and our Head Gardener who will allocate gardening activities. Depending on your role there will be some training/ induction that we ask that you complete. 

No previous experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!
