Graphics Volunteer

This volunteer role focuses on creating visually engaging graphics and design materials that communicate SEDSConnective vision and activities effectively across various platforms. The Graphics Volunteer will work closely with the Chair and other team members to ensure consistent branding and high-quality visual content that resonates with our audience.

Experience with Canva is essential, along with a strong understanding of visual communication principles. A passion for our vision is always a bonus.

Key Responsibilities – Visual Content Creation Volunteer

The volunteer will design engaging graphics for social media, campaigns, flyers& educational materials using Canva in line with SEDSConnective branding, with flexibility to use other tools provided final files are accessible via Canva.

They will create infographics that simplify complex information, ensuring all visuals support announcements, events & fundraising initiatives. A key aspect is maintaining brand consistency by aligning all materials with our visual identity, updating the asset library & helping refine the brand over time. The role also supports campaigns by collaborating with trustees & volunteers to deliver high-quality digital & print assets on time. Working closely with the Website & Content team, the volunteer will ensure visual consistency across platforms, contribute creative ideas & support engagement. Patience, openness to feedback clear communication & occasional participation in online/WhatsApp meetings.

Practical Considerations

Time Commitment 

• Flexible, approximately 5–7 hours per week – during busier times, projects/events dependent, sometimes less. Welcome to help us in different ways during the less busy time!
• Availability during daytime hours for responsive communication via WhatsApp.
• Participate in team connections which may occur during morning hours, lunch breaks, or evenings to accommodate everyone's schedules.
