Member of Green Dreams Committee

Green Dreams Festival Committee are seeking one or two people to join our group. The annual Green Dreams Festival (held in September) is a brilliant local event showcasing the great work that community groups are doing in our town, but we need some extra volunteers to help organise the next event in 2025.

Our lovely team meets about 5-6 times a year at Field Place in Worthing to pull this together. If you wanted to join the team now, you could see how it all happens in action, ready for next year.

Skills

Willingness to learn, local connections useful, some admin experience would be helpful, as well has being used to working as part of a team.

Benefits

The festival is great fun and would provide experience in event organising. It also raises the profile of individuals and groups in our community and plugs you into a wide range of local organisations and businesses.

Practical Considerations

All committee meetings are held at Field Place, The Boulevard, Worthing BN13 1PR  in the afternoon, usually at 3pm and last around 1 hour. The venue is very near to Durrington Railway Station and The Boulevard is on a main bus route. Parking is always available for committee meetings. Access is off the rear car park.
