We are currently seeking a Volunteer Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for administrative duties.


  • Responding to emails
  • Problem-solving
  • Keeping an eye on the dates and time management
  • Good communicator with patience.
  • Tech savvy for managing our social media and website:
    • Creating and curating engaging content for our social media platforms
    • Scheduling and posting content consistently to maintain an active online presence
    • Responding to comments, messages, and interactions to foster community engagement. 
  • Generally helping in running the House of Culture Brighton C.I.C.


  • Gain valuable experience in running a community-focused organization, administration and social media management.
  • Contribute to meaningful cultural initiatives and community-building efforts.
  • Develop and enhance your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Practical Considerations

In a city centre with easy access by bus, train or foot. Flexible hours.

When do I need to be available?

Details I'm happy to adjust hours to candidate needs. I would love to maybe be able to have an hour first thing in the morning at 9.30. This position could be for someone to work from home too.
