Chailey Heritage Foundation

Chailey Heritage Foundation will have a stall for the first time at the Patcham Duck Fayre. It runs from 11am - 4:30pm on 30 August at Patcham School Fields. This is a new event for us but it is well-loved in the community, so it would be brilliant to have Chailey represented in full force. Volunteers are needed for two-hour slots throughout the day. You will be able to enjoy the fayre before or after your shift.

What you will do

Working alongside our Fundraising Team you will:

  • Chat to residents
  • Manage the Tombola
  • Run Hook-a-Duck
  • Help set up or pack away depending on shift.

Benefits

  • Be part of a well-known community event
  • Join a friendly and supportive team
  • Claim travel expenses

Practical Considerations

Volunteers need to be over the age of 16 unless accompanied by an adult.  The minimum age is 14.  Volunteers will need to dress appropriately for a British summer!

Skills

  • Enjoy talking to members of the public
  • Represent Chailey Heritage Foundation
  • Be reliable.
