Photography Volunteer

Action for Conservation (AFC) is a UK youth environmental action charity empowers young people aged 12-24, from diverse backgrounds across the UK, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. AFC inspires long-term belief in the wonder of the natural world through our various programmes, including WildED (for schools and youth groups), an Ambassador programme and residential camps.

What will you do?

• Capture and edit photographs across our programmatic work (schools action days, workshops with Ambassadors, summer residential camp).
• Capture video content from across our programmatic work.
• Ad hoc video editing for social media.

Skills

• 18+ years-old
• Interested in photography or videography
• Experienced photographer/videographer either professional, graduate or self-taught as part of own interest
• Interested in youth work and nature
• Fun, high energy and engaging
• Owning your own camera is a bonus!

Practical Considerations

This depends on the event and details will be given in advance to see if the volunteer is able to attend.

When do I need to be available?

Details	Ad-hoc. School workshops are within school hours, ambassador events are usually one full day at the weekend, summer camps require a 3-5 day commitment during the August camps.
