We are Alcohol Change UK. We work for a society that is free from the harm caused by alcohol. We are not anti-alcohol; we are for alcohol change. In 2026, Alcohol Change UK will have its biggest race team yet at the Altra Brighton Half Marathon, bringing a team of 50 down on the day.
Like so many races, the Altra Brighton Half Marathon wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the goodwill and support of the 450+ volunteers who support the race each year in many different roles. As part of our fundraising efforts, we aim to support the volunteers at the race. We need help from people like YOU to come down on the day . The races require a lot of volunteers on race day, from helping with road marshalling to assisting with drinks at the drink stations, distributing medals at the finish line, and supporting our baggage facility.
The race offers the opportunity to be part of the unique buzz of race day and to learn more about our charity. Volunteers will be provided a packed lunch from Bagelman
