Story Trail Event Volunteer

Amaze is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to volunteer during the Story Trail at our events.

The Story Trail is an interactive sculpture trail, taking place in Brighton & Hove between September and November 2026. The Story Trail is raising funds for Amaze, your local charity supporting families with disabled children.

We are looking for volunteers to help at some of our Story Trail events. This may include paint and sips, our farewell weekend and our auction.

What you’ll do as a volunteer

Volunteering as an event volunteer is varied and depending on the event, but as an event volunteer you may be:

• sitting at a registration desk and welcoming participants
• providing practical help, like setting up the event
• leading activities with participants
• collecting money and selling merchandise.

Skills

To volunteer on The Story Trail, you don’t need any experience. We’d like our volunteers to be:

• reliable – attending the shifts you’ve signed up for
• friendly – a positive attitude when greeting visitors
• team players – a willingness to work together in a team.

Amaze is an inclusive charity, and we can support volunteers with additional needs. We can also support volunteers from age 16 or above.
