Tea Bar Assistant

Somerset Day Centre provide an uplifting service to older people generally over the age of fifty five, through active and fun social, creative, wellbeing and community activities including yoga,, arts and crafts, signing, line dancing and local outings. 

We have different volunteer opportunities that you can offer your time to:

• Helping with activities such as a quiz or a word game, shuffle board, golf or assisting on outings for example Brighton Pier or Lunch at Shoreham airport. 
• At lunch time helping to serve lunch or maybe mornings and afternoons to serve teas and coffees

We will provide appropriate training and support.

Buses 1, 2, 7, 17, 38 pass along St James's Street.

Skills

We are looking for people who enjoy interacting with all age groups and being part of a team, and are able to support others. 

When do I need to be available?

Details	We are open for volunteer support Monday to Thursday 10am to 3pm We welcome any Volunteer time you can offer, even if its just a couple of hours per week
