Brilliant Brighton-based charity Old Boat Corner Community Centre is looking for a Treasurer to strengthen our Trustee board and bring fresh perspectives.

We’re a thriving, resilient community hub on the outskirts of the city, with diverse income streams, an incredible staff team, dedicated volunteers, and a committed board. As a Treasurer you be helping us develop and manage our growing budget.

Practical Considerations

• Able to attend quarterly meetings of the Board at the community centre in Hollingbury
• Expenses reimbursed
• Induction and support.

Skills

• Knowledge of managing and reporting on organisational budgets
• Ability to analyse financial data
• Willingness to learn about financial regulations and reporting requirements for charities

When do I need to be available?

Details	Board meetings are held quarterly on a Tuesday evening, 7:45pm to 9:30pm. We also have an annual away day, generally on a Friday in June.
