Treasurer - Nam Yang Brighton

We are looking for passionate people to join our Board of Trustees and help shape our future. 

As a Treasurer you will be supporting the Board in overseeing the charity's finances and long-term sustainability. As well as supporting the charity's financial resilience. You will:

• Review budgets, management accounts and financial reports
• Help trustees to understand financial risks and opportunities
• Support annual accounts and independent examination
• Contribute to fundraising and income strategy
• Help identify funding and partnership opportunities
• Share ideas, skills or networks when appropriate
• Oversee fundraising plans

Practical Considerations

We hold quarterly meetings (approximately 2  hours). There will be input between meetings (including emails) and ad-hoc support for events or tasks.

We are looking for someone comfortable with finances (professional or lived experience). You don't need to be an accountant.
