Fitzjohns Community Food is looking for a new Treasurer-Trustee to help oversee our finances, help shape our strategic direction, and ensure we continue to fulfil our charitable mission.
Based in Lewes, we provide vital food support, signposting to other support services, and a welcoming café and social space for people experiencing hardship. With the rising cost of food, energy and other essentials, our work is more important than ever—and we need your help to keep it going.
What you'll do
As Treasurer-Trustee, you'll work closely with our staff and fellow trustees to:
- Oversee the charity's finances and financial reporting.
- Help the Board understand the charity's financial position and make informed decisions.
- Ensure appropriate financial controls and governance are in place.
