Adur Special Needs Project is a Shoreham and Adur based charity providing play for children and young adults (aged 5-15) with special needs and disabilities.
We currently support 38 children regularly at our play scheme. The Charity is looking at how it grows to that it can support more children and young adults based locally.
With the other Trustees you will be jointly involved in the responsibilities and decision making of the Charity, along with it's future growth.

Practical Considerations
We are looking for Trustees to offer 2 - 4 hours per month which will include monthly trustee meetings with sometime in between meetings to carry out Trustee related activities, along with visits to the play schemes . There are also opportunities to have project areas of responsibility, such as the Production Workshop or fundraising events.
You will be required to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check before you are confirmed as a Trustee with us.
Skills
- May have a charity, education/nursery, fundraising and/or disability experience and/or knowledge.
- Share the same vision and values as us in supporting children and their families with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Are able to collaborate and be part of a team.
- Will bring a different perspective, skills and ideas.
- Have the motivation and commitment to the Trustee role and responsibilities.
When do I need to be available?
