Are you passionate about helping your community? Do you want to make an impact on the lives of residents in West Sussex? Join our Trustee Board at Citizens Advice in West Sussex and help us on our journey to reduce inequalities and support our communities to thrive.

About Us: Citizens Advice in West Sussex is an independent local charity serving residents of Crawley, Horsham, Mid Sussex, Adur, and Worthing. Our mission is to reduce inequalities through high-quality information and advice and volunteering opportunities which connect our communities, so they thrive.   Last year we helped 40,000 people with over 100,000 problems from homelessness, foodbanks, discrimination and financial inclusion. Half our users have a health problem, many are carers, pensioners and families as well as refugees and asylum seekers.

When do I need to be available?

Details Our trustee board meets every three months for around 2 hours (usually from 5 – 7 pm on a weekday). We also hold one or two longer sessions each year to review our strategy and business plans and to think how we adapt to meet the changing needs and priorities of our service users and funders. You will also need to make time to prepare for meetings by reading papers and thinking of any questions you might want to raise at the meeting.
