Practical Considerations
What We Do: |
Provide Information and Advice: We offer advice to residents to navigate problems they face and find solutions. |
Create Volunteering Opportunities: We engage community members in volunteering roles, fostering connections and empowering people. |
Campaign for change: We use our users voices, data and expert advisors to solve the root cause problems and create change. |
Support Our Communities: By reducing inequalities, we help create thriving and resilient communities. |
When do I need to be available?
Details | Our trustee board meets every three months for around 2 hours (usually from 5 – 7 pm on a weekday). We also hold one or two longer sessions each year to review our strategy and business plans and to think how we adapt to meet the changing needs and priorities of our service users and funders. You will also need to make time to prepare for meetings by reading papers and thinking of any questions you might want to raise at the meeting. |
