About Dad La Soul:
Fatherhood is in crisis. With 4.5 million dads and male carers in the UK struggling with isolation, stress, and mental health challenges, and 84 men under 45 dying by suicide every week, the need for connection and support has never been greater. That’s where Dad La Soul comes in. We are a pioneering social enterprise dedicated to tackling loneliness, providing support, and building community for dads who often feel invisible in mainstream conversations.

The Role: Help Us Connect Dads, Partners, and a Lifeline of Support:
As our Volunteer Email Marketing/Mailchimp Expert, you’ll play a critical role in creating and managing email campaigns that help us build relationships with partners and engage fathers in the community. You will not only drive event attendance but also nurture ongoing partnerships—both of which are essential to funding and expanding our life-saving initiatives.

• Proven experience in email marketing and Mailchimp automation, with a strong focus on building strategic campaigns that drive engagement.
• Deep knowledge of email performance optimisation using segmentation, audience targeting, and personalisation to improve open and click-through rates.
• The ability to work independently and take full ownership of email marketing efforts, from strategy to implementation.

Practical Considerations

• Our office in central Worthing on the second floor of Colonnade House (no lift).
• Dad La Soul is a project that focuses on the challenging social isolation in dads but we actively welcome applications from people from the widest possible range of backgrounds.
• Remote volunteering is available for this role.

When do I need to be available?

Details	We estimate that the initial research and setup of automation will take around 10-15 hours. Ongoing management and optimisation will require 4-8 hours per week, but we’re flexible and appreciate every hour you can commit to this important mission.
