The tasks of a Secretary include:
- Email details and agendas for meetings of the trustees (the UMT).
- Take minutes at meetings of the UMT upload them, and email to team members.
- Attend a regular meetings of the UMT- usually two hours, monthly or bi-monthly, on a weekday evening.
- Send out calling notices and agenda for the AGM.
- Take minutes of the AGM, upload them and email to team members.
- Keep and collate the unit charity’s archives including statutory notices such as insurance and liability certificates.

Practical Considerations
- You will be based at our HQ at 43 Brewer Street Brighton BN2 3HH which s eassily accessible by bus.
- Metered parking is available in near by streets.
- You will be expected to attend the meetings of the UMT which are usually held every six weeks.
