Volunteer to deliver to Shinewater Community Fridge
Eastbourne Food Partnership
Eastbourne Food Partnership are looking for volunteers to help for 30 minutes - an hour each week with picking up produce and delivering it to Shinewater Community Fridge.
This will involve visiting 2 - 3 sites (within a 10 mile radius), collecting produce and delivering it to the fridge. You will be reimbursed for travel costs and will be contributing to help those living with strained budgets and struggling to access fresh, nutritious and affordable produce.
We also have volunteer training to help run the fridge available too.
Anyone can apply, as long as you are passionate about communities, like talking to people and have a love of fresh locally grown food!
Vehicle and clean driving license essential as transporting the food is the role we are advertising for.
Help the local community by providing the fridge with produce that can then be distributed.
Parking at the family hub available
When do I need to be available?
|Deliveries for produce can be carried out on either a Monday afternoon/evening or very early Tuesday morning (around 7am)
