Volunteer Coordinator (Volunteer)

TreeActionUK are a Community Interest Company (a not for profit similar to a charity) organising tree planting and maintenance projects that benefit young people and the environment. Since starting in 2019 we have delivered 7 school projects in Sussex, fundraising, buying and planting 20 - 50 trees in each school from funds we raised.

In addition we have ongoing tree planting and maintenance projects in the Adur District working with Adur District Council and are reaching out to more local communities to become involved in developing woodland on open land. 

We currently have over 20 volunteers covering tree conservation, fundraising and marketing. As a Volunteer Coordinator you will be joining us to support this team including volunteer recruitment and some management of the volunteers, with support from the Directors. 

We are looking for someone who is able to offer between 2-4 days a week. 

Skills

• Great organisational skills
• Friendly outgoing personality and a team player
• Experience of schools and/or environmental projects is a bonus.

When do I need to be available?

Details	Are you able to offer between 2-4 days per week - normally Monday to Friday during the day and once a month on a Saturday for an hour or two on occasion.
