A befriending role that involves visiting a child or young person in care once a month. You get to enjoy fun activities together out in the community and become a friend and positive influence to your young person just by being yourself, spending time with them, and listening.
Skills
We are looking for those who are friendly, compassionate and willing to make a small difference to a young persons life.
You must have experience with children and young people, whether this be as a family member, friend or professional.
Ideally, you will have experience with children and young people who have been through hardships.

Practical Considerations
Flexible hours, though the majority of our young people will be looking for visits outside of school hours and on the weekend.
Must have availability once a month for 2- 4 hours.
