Brighton and Hove Arts Council (BHAC) is a charity run entirely by volunteers, all interested in the arts and with a shared commitment to support our not-for-profit arts groups members who provide a wealth of entertainment and enjoyment to the local community. We cover all arts areas including visual arts, music, drama, dance, spoken and written word. The site is used by people all over the area to find out what is on in the arts area and to seek out arts groups to join. It is used by our not-for-profit members to post their activities and to recruit new members. The site has an online copy of Arts Diary which gives details of arts activities in East Sussex.
The site also promotes BHAC activities. Each year we run an art exhibition, drama competition, an Outstanding Contribution to the Arts Award and every two years a poetry competition and festival.
There is is a connection to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
